“Why the Chaos Consortium?” you ask.
A brief history should answer the question. My wife and I live with five of our seven children. The oldest is already leaving his own mark upon the world–what a blessing this has been. The next is transitioning to plodding her own path.
This leaves the younger five, two dogs, and a cat to keep our happy home in any shape but calm–in other words, chaos.
The most popular phrase we hear when asked about our family is, “I bet there’s never a dull moment at your house.” Nothing could be truer, but that is not a bad thing. We get restless when it gets quiet.
Not to mention, I always have plenty of material to inspire me. You guessed it, whenever you see one of my narratives being told from a child’s perspective, it will most likely start from one of our children–with a healthy dose of my own childhood for nostalgic purposes.
I have been blessed with a full life, loving wife, amazing and active kids. Now it’s time to record it all, so others can share in the enjoyment–and see why the chaos always comes home.
