Confinement
As I have been prone to say in the past, inspiration can come from the unlikeliest of places.
My wife and I rose very early this morning to make our trek to the airport for a just as early flight to our son and daughter-in-law’s house. Our intention is to assist them in moving back to our home state. After sitting on the airplane beyond take off time, the minutes began to grow. Currently we have been confined to our seats for 2 hours and counting.
Sardine is the more frequent word that comes to mind.
As my mind continues to race, I am becoming aware of the effects that confinement in a small space can have. Combine that with the constant drone or hum of the mechanics of the plane in the background and the stage becomes set for extreme anxiety. Now imagine throwing isolation into that mix.
You get the picture. Well back to my confinement as the creative wheels have begun to turn. Chaos in true form.
